The expansion, which is expected to be completed in the first half of 2015, will increase the capacity of Fujairah 1 IWPP from 100 MiGD to 130 MiGD, of which 67.5 MiGD will be produced using reverse osmosis process. The remaining 62.5 MiGD is produced using multi-stage flash technology.
