The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry has recently received the integrated quality management system certification, which recognises standards for Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, and Environmental Management Systems.

The achievement is an indicator of the chamber's ongoing commitment to integrate and adopt world class practices and measures in the fields of quality, health, and safety.

The internationally recognised certificate was awarded to Abdullah Sultan Al-Owais, Chamber Chairman by Bassem Obeid, from Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance, EMEA.

The integrated quality management system certification consists of the Quality Management System Certification ISO 9001, environmental management system ISO 14001, and occupational health and safety management system OSHA 18001.
