Dr. Tariq bin Khadem, Chairman of the Human Resources Department, HRD, observed that the Sharjah Government’s budget for 2017 is the largest in the history of the emirate and it enhances the HRD’s role in providing more job opportunities for young citizens in both public and private sectors.

He expects the budget will enable Sharjah to provide 3,500 jobs to Emiratis.

In an exclusive statement to Sharjah 24, Bin Khadem stressed that the budget’s approval by H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, is the fruit of the government’s prudent financial policies, and noted that the 2017 budget has been prepared in accordance with the highest international standards and genuine scientific rules of financial policies, thus providing more confidence to various sectors in the emirate and contributing to the continuing growth achieved in Sharjah, thanks to the emirate’s wise leadership.

The 2017 budget also underlines vigorous local economy and perpetuates the emirate’s trends, he added.

He also stressed that the efforts of the Sharjah Ruler are the key drivers of overall development process and the primary supporter of providing happiness and prosperity to Emiratis, adding that the budget reflects Sharjah’s solid economy and income diversification, thereby placing the emirate at an advanced global position.
