As part of its ongoing CSR initiatives, Le Méridien Al Aqah recently hosted a group of children from the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation.

The orphans, aged eight to fourteen, enjoyed the extensive facilities at the resort’s Penguin Club, which was upgraded this year to include new equipment and a Pets’ Corner. The day’s activities included poetry telling and educational dances and were followed by lunch at Views restaurant.

“We have worked with the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation on several visits and we are proud to foster the development of these promising children. It’s an enjoyable day out for them, and it also gives them exposure to a career path in the hospitality industry,” said Patrick Antaki, General Manager, Le Méridien Al Aqah Beach Resort.
