South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2013
South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) rewards the artistic and technical achievements of the South Indian film industry. Organized by Anjan Star Events, SIIMA 2013 will be held on June 20 and 21 at the Sharjah Expo Centre.The first SIIMA awards were held on 21st and 22nd June in Dubai last year and it saw some of the biggest names in the industry perform on stage and walk away with the coveted trophy. The objective of the awards night is to promote the south Indian film industry which constitutes for the largest number of films released in India. In terms of box office clout too, Tollywood films get at least 10 per cent of their revenues from the overseas market. The organisers hope to reach out to a global audience through the awards night.
This event will entail an international premiere of the most expected and anticipated releases of the year. It will be a red carpet event where in the whole star cast of the south movie, will be accompanied by their family and friends from all the four industries.
The awards night will be a super glittering affair with rocking performances by some of the top actors, actresses and popular musicians including Usha Uttap, Shriya Saran, Trisha, Tamanna, Shruthi Hasan, Kajal Agrawal, Rana Daggubati, Rockline Venkatesh, Charmee, Hansika Motwani, Ramya, Anjali, Andrita Ray, Devisriprasad and many more.
