Expo Center Sharjah has announced preparations to host the 42nd edition of the Middle East Watch and Jewellery Show, set to take place from April 4th to 8th, under gracious patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al-Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and with the support of Sharjah Chamber Of Commerce & Industry.
The show, which occupies a 30,000-square meter space, will see participation from over 500 exhibitors from 20 countries around the world, including (Salem Al Shaibi Jewellery), the Platinum Sponsor of the show, along with some of the most prestigious watch makers and jewellery brands. The show is an opportunity for consumers and specialists to explore rare collections and exclusive designs in gold, diamond, pearl, gems and silver; in addition to bridal collections and rare collectibles in watches & high-end luxury pieces.
Participating countries include Italy, UK, and Lithuania from Europe, Turkey, India, China, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand from Asia, in addition to Brazil and the US. From the Arab World, Lebanon, Jordan, KSA, Bahrain, Yemen, and the UAE are taking part in the show.
Commenting on the exhibition, HE Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Center Sharjah and Chairman of UFI's MEA Chapter, assured that all necessary preparations for the show are underway, commending the Middle East Watch and Jewellery Show for the great reputation it has assured over the years, as a truly international hub for the watch and jewellery sector, as it brings together a large number of brands under one roof, and attracts a huge audience from across the world.
The Middle East Watch and Jewellery Show positions Sharjah as an international hub for the gold industry, as well as watch making and jewellery in general. It also highlights the diversity of the emirate’s economy.
A raffle draw on a brand-new BMW will take place on the last day of the show.
