Sharjah Municipality is working to strengthen its role to improve the quality of services to keep the Sharjah City free of pollution and making it an attractive place for tourism and investment as well as the best place for spending time.

This comes as per directives of H. H. Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and ruler of Sharjah to preserve the cultural and aesthetic appearance of the city.

Sultan Abdullah Al Mualla, director general of Sharjah Municipality stressed that the great development witnessed in Sharjah and the increase in population made the Municipality to upgrade level of services in line with its strategy to achieve the highest standards of sustainable environment.

Al Mualla announced that the Municipality has set up a special section for monitoring cleanliness as well as organising several courses for qualified monitors to enable them to perform their work professionally. He also called residents to participate in municipality efforts.
